The only people never accused of "Islamophobia"...

are the ones who really do fear Islam.

It’s like the unshakeable “-gate” the Media lazily slap onto the ass of every scandal: we’re stuck with the “fear/-phobia” suffix as long as the progs of Academia and Big Victim maintain control of p.c. naming conventions.

Leftists really believe that “fear of the Other” is every conservative’s ch’i: “You’re afraid of Muslims because you’re ignorant.”

Barnacled mid-century boilerplate, and like most Received Liberal Wisdom, the exact opposite is true.

Unless you’re an idiot, the more you learn about Islam and its glorious leader -- that illiterate slave owner who had sex with a 9-year-old -- the less impressive it is.

It’s no accident that Islam’s voluntary converts come mostly from the US prison population: it’s a low IQ faith for low IQ people.

I’m not afraid of radical Islam because I’m ignorant. I hate radical Islam because I know so much about it.

So strictly speaking, I can’t be “Islamophobic.”

Who does fear radical Islam, though? Cowardly reporters who court terrorists then convert at gunpoint. Every newspaper that refused to run the Danish cartoons. Mealy-mouthed politicians of all parties. School teachers, bureaucrats and other eager appeasers.

What all these people have in common is their fear of Islam -- and the fact they are NEVER accused of “Islamophobia.”

And those who do attract that designation don’t fear Islam that much. If they did they wouldn’t run highly public websites and write contentious books in the first place. Seems pretty obvious to me that the newspapers called "Islamophobic" for running the cartoons were NOT afraid of Islam.

If you want to be afraid of something, be afraid that our enemies and their dupes are too stupid to come up with coherent words with which to accuse us. People that dumb are capable of doing, and believing, just about anything.
